The Temple

Enter this door as if the floor within were gold;
And every wall of jewels all of wealth untold;
As if a choir in robes of fire were singing here;
No shout nor rush, but hush… for God is here.

I was able to go through the Ogden, Utah temple this week. It was such a wonderful experience and I felt the Spirit so strongly. I know that the temple is heaven on earth. I felt the peace and happiness that the gospel brings to my life so powerfully, it made me eager to go and serve the Lord. I know that the prophet, Joseph Smith, was a man of God and that the restoration of the Lord’s church was brought through him. I love this gospel. I love this wonderful opportunity we have to go to the temple, and I feel inspired to go more often.

Doctrine and Covenants 87:8  is one of my very favorite scriptures; “Stand ye in holy places and be not moved. . . ” An awesome perk for reading my blog: it’s downloadable! Click on the image below for the printable sized image.
