Jamen. . . Dags

Hi Everyone!

So, this week has been a total blast. We have some great pics, but I thought that along with those I could share something that I really loved from my studies this week. As well as a new thing, because I know that I am awful at writing. I apologize for that. So. NEW THING!

One challenge from this week: Lots of people cancelling appointments and no-replies to our phone calls and texts. A little stressful, but that is okay. 🙂

One miracle for this week: We went and got some hot dogs on a down day and a guy stopped us and asked if we believed in Jesus Christ. We said, of course, that we do. He asked if we knew why his apostles could heal, and if there was anyone on the earth that could do the will of God in that way today? We then talked a little bit about the priesthood, and he continued to ask about if we believe in the trinity and so forth. After a short, but great conversation, he asked if we could stop by his house sometime to give him all of our reading materials and have more gospel conversations. Basically, we got contacted, and it went SUPER well.

One funny story from this week: We went on a picnic to the fjord to do language study and lunch. It was really just funny because of us trying to take pictures. You will see.

Now, with the spiritual part of this week. There is an awesome scripture in the Doctrine and Covenants, section 128, verses 22-23

“Brethren, shall we not go on in so great a cause? Go forward and not backward. Courage, brethren; and on, onto the victory! Let your hearts rejoice, and be exceedingly glad. Let the earth break forth into singing. Let the dead speak forth anthems of eternal praise to the King Immanuel, who hath ordained, before the world was, that which would enable us to redeem them out of their prison;for the prisoners shall go free.

“Let the mountains shout for joy, and all ye valleys cry aloud; and all ye seas and dry lands tell the wonders of your Eternal King! And ye rivers, and brooks, and rills, flow down with gladness. Let the woods and all the trees of the field praise the Lord; and ye solid rocks weep for joy! And let the sun, moon, and the morning stars sing together, and let all the sons of God shout for joy! And let the eternal creations declare his name forever and ever! And again I say, how glorious is the voice we hear from heaven, proclaiming in our ears, glory, and salvation, and honor, and immortality, and eternal life; kingdoms, principalities, and powers!”

This scripture just gets me so pumped!!! It is so happy. Let us all press on in the work of the Lord, and let us fight to the victory. The score is already decided, we just need to decide if we want to be on the winning team or the losing team. Just awesome.

Have a great week!
