Hi howdy hey,
So, this week, I will talk a little bit about something that makes me SUPER happy. That is, chicken and waffels. So what you do is you take a giant fried chicked breast, put it on a nice hot waffel, and cover it in butter and syrup and honey. We ate this for Søster Sørensen’s birthday, and it brightened my life. A LOT. Gosh, I love it. Way yummy. It was a great time.
Now, I am gonna share one of my very favorite quotes with y’all.
“God guides you, dear Mother; you are not so much in the dark as you think. The path to be followed may not always be clear at once. Pray for light; do not decide too quickly, listen to what others have to say, consider their reasons. You will always find something to help you. … Guided by faith, by prayer, and by reason with a right intention, you have enough” – Archbishop Périer
I love this quote. I look at this quote pretty much every day, as it is written on my desk, and I have so much to say about it, but I will keep this just a little brief.
Replace “Mother” with your name. This is so powerful. None of us are ever alone. We always have enough. We are enough. Although we struggle, and this is the way of life, we should look for the brighter skies. As it says in a really great song we listen to in our district, “When you pray, pray for strength to help you carry on when the troubles come your way.” We need to pray. We need to seek guidance from the Lord. He will always support and uplift. We should excersize patience, charity, and humility. As we have faith, we will succeed.
I love you all, and I hope you all have a really great week!
