A Marvelous Work – MTC Week 1

Due to technical difficulties, Sister Williams was unable to send photos this week, so I’ve posted a few from the day we dropped her off at the MTC.

From Sister Williams:

The MTC is a wonderful place. I love it so much! The spirit is so strong here and I love being a part of this work. There is nothing like being super exhausted all the time, but it is the good kind of exhausted. It is the kind where you have worked your hardest all day long.

My roommates are so awesome. They are all going to France! One is actually a sister from Denmark, so she is giving us Danish food, as well as wonderful language pointers.

I tried some salt licorice! Soeur Andersen said that this salt licorice is the strongest in all of Denmark, and if I liked it, I would be fine there. The Lord must have changed my taste buds because that was some of the most delicious candy I have had. It was totally different than what I was used to, but it was awesome. So many blessings.

I have learned so much. I have been here a week and I already know how to pray, bear my testimony, share my thoughts in gospel topics, and so much more. I can understand and answer my investigator and all of his questions. The gift of tongues is real.

I love this gospel and I love being here, sharing it and living it more completely. I have a long ways to go, but I know that with the Lord on my side, I will learn.

Salig dag, alt er vel.
